S355JR submerged arc welded pipe (LSAW) is a high-end welded structural pipe manufactured using longitudinal submerged arc welding technology. It uses S355JR low-alloy high-strength structural steel according to European standard EN 10210 as raw material. Single steel plates are pressed into shape (usually using JCOE or UOE cold forming processes), and multi-wire submerged arc welding technology is used to weld along one or two busbars internally and externally. This process results in deep penetration and high-quality straight welds, giving the product excellent toughness, superior dimensional stability, and strong load-bearing capacity, making it a core material for heavy industrial structures, pressure pipelines, and marine engineering.
