S355 is a low-carbon manganese steel alloy. EN 10210 S355J2 steel pipes are manufactured using this low-carbon alloy. These pipes are easy to weld, have good impact resistance, and can be used in low-temperature environments. They are widely used in transportation facilities such as subways, airports, and transmission towers. S355J2 seamless steel pipes with a carbon content of 0.22% possess good ductility, hardness, strength, and corrosion resistance. These seamless steel pipes range in diameter from 4mm to 219mm and in wall thickness from 0.5mm to 20mm. Although these pipes are not as hard as carbon steel pipes, their surface hardness can be improved through carburizing treatment.
