Large diameter LSAW carbon steel pipe is made from a single layer of medium-thickness steel plate. The steel plate is pressed and rolled into a pipe blank in a mold or forming machine, then subjected to double-sided submerged arc welding and diameter expansion. The finished product has a wide range of specifications, good toughness, excellent plasticity, and uniform and dense weld seams. It features large diameter, thick wall, high pressure resistance, low temperature resistance, and strong corrosion resistance.

Quality Inspection of S355J2H Large-Diameter Straight Seam Submerged Arc Welded Pipe
The quality inspection of S355J2H large-diameter LSAW welded black carbon steel pipe strictly follows the EN 10210 standard. Ultrasonic and X-ray testing is used for 100% non-destructive testing of the longitudinal weld seam. Simultaneously, a hydrostatic pressure test verifies the pipe's pressure-bearing capacity (test pressure ≥ 1.5 times the working pressure and held for 10 seconds). Samples from the base material and weld area undergo tensile, bending, and -20℃ Charpy impact tests to ensure a yield strength ≥ 355MPa and impact energy ≥ 27J. A laser scanner is used to inspect the pipe's roundness (tolerance ≤ ±0.3%). Finally, a permanent inspection mark is sprayed onto the pipe wall, creating a traceable quality record.
