2PE Coating Steel Pipe

 

2PE anti-corrosion steel pipe (double-layer polyethylene) has a two-layer PE anti-corrosion structure, with the first layer being adhesive (AD) and the second layer being polyethylene (PE). These two materials are fused together, and the thickness of each layer is the same as that of the three-layer PE.

Difference between 2PE anti-corrosion pipe and 3PE anti-corrosion pipe lies in their structures:

2PE anti-corrosion steel pipe (double-layer polyethylene) features a two-layer PE anti-corrosion structure, with the first layer being adhesive (AD) and the second layer being polyethylene (PE). These two materials are fused together.

On the other hand, 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe refers to a three-layer polyolefin coating (MAPEC) outer anti-corrosion steel pipe, with the first layer being epoxy powder (FBE > 100um), the second layer being adhesive (AD) (170-250um), and the third layer being polyethylene (PE) (2.5-3.7mm). In actual operation, these three materials are mixed and fused together, and then processed to firmly bond with the steel pipe, forming an excellent anti-corrosion layer. The processing methods generally include winding and extrusion coating.
