Q235B Longitudinal Highfrequency Welded Steel Pipe
Q235B Longitudinal High-Frequency Welded Steel Pipe Product Introduction
Q235B longitudinal high-frequency welded steel pipe is made from Q235B carbon structural steel using longitudinal high-frequency resistance welding technology, and then cut into welded steel pipes of the required length. This product utilizes the skin effect and proximity effect of high-frequency current to instantly heat the steel strip edges to a molten state, achieving grain boundary penetration welding under the action of extrusion rollers, forming a continuous and uniform weld structure. Its yield strength is not less than 235MPa, and it features narrow welds, a small heat-affected zone, high forming efficiency, and high dimensional accuracy. It is widely used in low-pressure fluid transportation systems, building structural support, and general machinery manufacturing. This product conforms to GB/T 3091 standard and can be treated with hot-dip galvanizing, epoxy spraying, and other surface anti-corrosion treatments according to the requirements of the service environment.

Surface Treatment of Q235B Longitudinal Welded High-Frequency Welded Steel Pipes
The surface treatment of Q235B longitudinally welded high-frequency welded steel pipes mainly adopts a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process. The process includes pretreatment steps such as alkaline degreasing, hydrochloric acid pickling, and flux immersion, followed by hot-dip galvanizing in a zinc bath at 450℃-460℃. This ultimately forms a complete coating on the surface, consisting of a zinc-iron alloy layer and a pure zinc layer. This treatment ensures that the zinc coating on the steel pipe surface is no less than 275g/㎡ (standard requirement), with uniform thickness and strong adhesion, effectively resisting atmospheric corrosion and electrochemical corrosion, and significantly extending service life. In addition, advanced anti-corrosion treatments such as epoxy resin electrostatic spraying or polyethylene coating can be used as needed. These coatings provide longer-lasting protection for the steel pipes in harsh corrosive environments through a dual mechanism of cathodic protection and physical barrier.
