EN10219 European standard provides detailed specifications for the cold-formed welded technical requirements of circular, square, and rectangular hollow sections, applicable to cold-formed or unprocessed hollow sections.

Cold Forming: The shaping process carried out at room temperature is called cold forming.
Normalized Rolling: Rolling must be conducted at a certain temperature, and specific mechanical properties must be maintained after normalization.
Hot Rolling: Rolling must be conducted at a certain temperature but should not reach the temperature for heat treatment. Elevating the temperature above 580°C may reduce its strength.
Note: Hot rolling resulting in delivery condition M may include tempering or semi-tempering during the manufacturing process, but does not include quenching, quenching and tempering.

Inspection of EN10219 LSAW Pipe

• Inspection and Testing Types

1 For non-alloy hollow sections of quality grades JR and JO, non-specific testing requirements should follow the EN10021 standard unless the customer provides detailed specifications at the time of ordering. Customers can specify inspection and testing requirements when placing their orders.

2 For non-alloy hollow sections of quality grades J2 and fine-grain steel qualities N, M, ML, and NL, the testing requirements should comply with the EN10021 standard.

• Types of Inspection Documents

1 Non-specific inspection reports for products should adhere to the EN10204 standard. The coding and related information included in the inspection reports must comply with the requirements of EU standard 168.

- A: Transaction
- B: Product description in the inspection report
- C: Inspection information as follows:
- C11-C13: Tensile test report
- C71-C92: Pre-furnace analysis report
- Z: Certification of the inspection report.

2 Inspection certificates or inspection reports for products with specific inspection requirements should be provided following the EN10204 standard.
