ASTM A333 Grade 6 is a type of cryogenic carbon steel pipe widely used for transporting cryogenic media such as water, oil, and natural gas. These pipes are typically supplied by nominal diameter (NPS) and nominal wall thickness, and the pipe grade is indicated according to ASME B36.10M. They are typically connected to ASTM A350 LF2 flanges and ASTM A420 WPL6 butt-welded pipe fittings. ASTM A333 Gr.6 steel pipes are primarily used in pipeline construction for the production of ethylene, propylene, urea, ammonia, and NPK compound fertilizers.
