S235JRH SSAW welded steel pipe is a structural steel pipe produced using spiral submerged arc welding technology. Its material conforms to the European standard EN 10219-1, possessing a yield strength of not less than 235MPa and good cold bending performance. This product combines spiral forming technology with double-sided submerged arc welding to create a continuous and uniform weld structure, exhibiting high pipe rigidity, strong dimensional flexibility, and stable pressure-bearing performance. Heat Treatment of S235JRH Spiral Submerged Arc Welded Pipe

After welding, S235JRH SSAW welded pipe typically requires localized normalizing heat treatment of the weld area. This is because the weld and heat-affected zone undergo rapid heating and cooling during welding, resulting in coarse grains, uneven microstructure, and residual welding stress in this area. Normalizing (heating the weld to an appropriate temperature above Ac3 followed by air cooling) refines the grains and homogenizes the microstructure in this area, significantly improving its plasticity and toughness, and effectively eliminating welding stress. This ensures that the mechanical properties of the weld match those of the base material (S235JRH), enhancing the overall structural stability and pressure-bearing reliability of the pipe.
