Quality Inspection Process of Q235B Thin-Walled Welded Steel Pipes
First, the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the Q235B steel strip are randomly sampled and inspected. During the welding process, eddy current testing is used to conduct 100% online inspection of the weld seam to ensure there are no defects such as incomplete penetration or slag inclusions. Finished products must be sampled according to standards and subjected to a flattening test until no cracks are found, followed by a hydrostatic test to verify pressure resistance and sealing. Finally, all geometric dimensions such as outer diameter, wall thickness, and ovality are fully inspected to ensure tolerances meet the requirements of GB/T 13793 standard. All test data are recorded and archived to achieve quality traceability.
