L390 Welded Round Steel Pipe Description
L390 large diameter welded pipe is made of X56M/L390M low alloy steel as the core material, through optimising the composition and welding process to achieve high strength, low temperature and corrosion resistance, it is the ideal choice for large-diameter fluid transport pipelines.
Forming and welding:
After the strip steel is pre-treated by flattening and trimming, it is rolled into a pipe billet by spiral forming machine, and then welded by double-sided submerged arc welding process for internal and external welds to ensure the denseness of welds.
Some of the large diameter pipes (such as Φ3500mm) are produced by hot rolling process to enhance the pressure resistance.
Anti-corrosion treatment: 3PE anti-corrosion layer (epoxy powder + adhesive + polyethylene) or epoxy coating is optional to enhance the corrosion resistance, which is suitable for corrosive environments such as chemical industry and ocean.
Specification range: outer diameter covers Φ219-Φ3500mm, wall thickness 6-25.4mm The company supports the customisation requirements.
Applications
Energy transmission: oil, natural gas long-distance pipeline, especially suitable for high pressure, highly corrosive media.
Municipal and construction: city gas pipeline, heat pipe network and building structure support (such as bridges, tunnels).
Industrial field: chemical medium transport, coal mine drainage system and water conservancy project.

High strength and pressure resistance: yield strength of 390MPa or more, can withstand high-pressure transport needs, reduce pipe wall thickness and construction costs.
Economical and efficient: spiral forming process has high production efficiency and can produce large diameter pipes with narrow steel strip at a lower cost than LSAW pipes.
Corrosion resistance and long service life: combined with anti-corrosion coating technology, the service life can reach more than 30 years.
