L320 sSAW Pipe Description
L320 spiral welded pipe is a spiral seam submerged arc welded steel pipe made of L320 pipeline steel as raw material, and 'L320' in its name stands for the minimum yield strength of 320MPa 24. The name 'L320' stands for the minimum yield strength of 320MPa.
Mechanical properties: yield strength ≥ 320MPa, tensile strength range 415-560MPa, elongation ≥ 20%, suitable for high-pressure fluid transport scenarios.
Material composition: low alloy steel material, carbon content ≤ 0.22%, sulfur and phosphorus content ≤ 0.03%, to protect welding performance and low temperature toughness.
Corrosion resistance: 3PE anti-corrosion, galvanised or epoxy coating treatment is available to enhance durability in humid, acid and alkali environments.
Manufacturing process
Forming and welding:
Adopting spiral forming technology, through the strip curling forming, it can produce large-calibre steel pipes with diameters of Φ219-3500mm and wall thicknesses of 6-25.4mm.
Using double-sided submerged arc welding technology, internal and external welds are welded synchronously, which ensures continuous and even weld seams and excellent compression resistance.
Quality Inspection:
The weld seam should pass X-ray and ultrasonic inspection to ensure that there are no cracks, porosity and other defects.
Hydrostatic test pressure ≥ 1.25 times the design pressure, verifying the pressure-bearing capacity of the pipeline.
