JIS G3454 STPG370 ERW Welded Pipe

JIS G3454 STPG370 resistance welded pipe is widely used in boilers, ships, machinery. Its chemical composition and mechanical properties are in strict compliance with the standard requirements, and the welding process ensures the continuity and reliability of the pipe.
Welding Process:
Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) is a common manufacturing process, which achieves continuous welding of pipes by current heating and is suitable for mass production.
Welded areas need to be verified to be free of cracks and other defects by flattening test and bending test.
Differences with other processes for steel pipes
Compare with seamless steel pipe: STPG370 resistance welded pipe has lower cost and higher production efficiency, but the pressure-bearing capacity is slightly lower than seamless pipe of the same material.
Comparison of high frequency welded pipes: STPG370 resistance welding process is suitable for thicker wall pipes, and the quality of weld seam is stable.
