EN 10219 S355J0H RHS Tube Description
S355J0H rectangular pipes are also a type of low-alloy high-strength structural steel pipes, similar to S355JRH, but with an impact temperature of 0°C. Therefore, S355J0H is more widely used in cold regions. EN 10219 S355J0H rectangular hollow sections are commonly used in bridges, ships, power station equipment, lifting and transportation machinery, mechanical manufacturing, and other engineering applications that require high load-bearing capacity.

Yield strength ≥355MPa, tensile strength 470–630MPa, significantly higher than ordinary carbon steel, can withstand heavy loads and impact stress.
Elongation ≥22%, high toughness allows it to absorb energy through plastic deformation when overloaded, avoiding brittle fracture.
- Excellent process performance
Excellent welding performance: The balanced design of carbon content (about 0.20%) and manganese content (about 1.60%) reduces the risk of hot brittleness and ensures that the strength of the welded joint reaches the level of the parent material.
Cold forming adaptability: supports cold bending, hot bending and other processing to meet the needs of complex engineering structures.
- Environmental corrosion resistance
The natural oxide film on the surface can resist ordinary atmospheric corrosion. After galvanizing or spray coating, it is suitable for high-salt environments at the seaside and industrial weak corrosive media scenarios.
