API 5L X 42 Gr B DSAW Pipes are widely used in pipeline applications, especially in deep water situations. Industries such as natural gas, refineries and water pipelines use these API 5L X 42 carbon steel seamless pipes. They can be seamless, welded or hot-rolled, and these API 5L grade X42 PSL2 epoxy-coated pipes are available in sizes ranging from ⅜ inch to 30 inches. HIC-tested SCH 40 X42 carbon steel pipe is also protected from hydrogen embrittlement. API 5L X42 Class B LSAW pipe is used to transport oil and gas over long distances. API 5L Class X42 PSL1 sour service pipe is PSL1 and is rolled, usually labeled "R" or "M" if thermomechanical rolling is required. ". However, if L290 X42 spiral welded pipe belonging to PSL2 is quenched or tempered, it is marked "Q", and if a normalized form is required, it is marked "N".
