A691 1-1/4CR Alloy EFW Steel Pipes Description
A691 1-1/4CR steel pipes are electric fusion welded carbon and alloy steel pipes with filler metal. These pipes, made from pressure vessel steel plates, are suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure environments. GNEE Group specializes in providing high-quality A691 1-1/4CR welded pipes that conform to ASTM standards. Our A691 1-1/4CR alloy welded pipes have been exported to over 150 countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, and New Zealand. Feel free to contact us if you have any needs.

GNEE Production Process of A691 1-1/4CR Longitudinal Welded Pipes
Production process of longitudinal A691 1-1/4CR welded pipes is simple, with high efficiency and low cost, leading to rapid development. Spiral welded pipes generally have higher strength than longitudinal welded pipes and can be produced with narrower billets for larger pipe diameters. Additionally, they can use billets of the same width to produce A691 1-1/4CR pipes with different diameters. However, compared to longitudinal pipes of the same length, the length of the weld seam increases by 30 to 100%, and the production speed is lower.
For large diameter or thick-walled A691 1-1/4CR welded pipes, steel billets are typically used directly, while small welded pipes with thin walls only require welding steel strips directly. They are then polished and drawn to finish.
Classification of GNEE A691 1-1/4CR Welding Inspection Methods
- Destructive Testing: Mechanical Performance Testing (Tensile, Impact, Hardness, Fracture Toughness, Fatigue), Bend Test, Chemical Analysis Test (Chemical Composition Analysis, Intergranular Corrosion Test for Stainless Steel, Hydrogen Diffusion Content Test for Welding Electrodes)
- Non-Destructive Testing: Visual Inspection, Non-Destructive Testing (Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Radiographic), Pressure Resistance Test, Leak Test
