What is SA / A234 WPB Carbon Eccentric Reducer
SA / A234 WPB carbon steel eccentric reducer features one end with a larger diameter and the other end with a smaller diameter, with its ports vertically offset (eccentric design). When fluid passes through, the changing cross-sectional area alters flow velocity, while the eccentric structure prevents gas or debris accumulation in the pipe.
Installation Methods
"Bottom Flat" (Bottom-aligned):
Large end bottom aligns with small end bottom.
Prevents liquid pooling in horizontal pipelines.
"Top Flat" (Top-aligned):
Large end top aligns with small end top.
Suitable for gas-containing media or venting applications.
Key Applications
Horizontal pipelines (e.g., pump suction lines, drainage systems).
Gas/vapor handling where air pockets must be avoided.
