40 longitudinally welded steel pipes in Q355NH - Ø970 × 35 mm at 6 m and Ø1070 × 35 mm at 5 m, invoiced at 186.170 tonnes - plus 60 S235JR flanges drilled to match, shipped to Egypt. The pipes left blast-cleaned to Sa2.5, painted in two coats of epoxy glass-flake paint to 150 μm DFT, with a 10% sampling plan, magnetic-particle testing on the welds and hydrostatic tests at 45 bar on the 970 mm pipes and 15 bar on the 1070 mm pipes.

Coating and Preservation
All pipes were blast-cleaned to Sa2.5 (near-white, ISO 8501-1) and finished in two coats of epoxy glass-flake paint to 150 μm DFT - aluminium-grey first, black second. The two-tone sequence lets the dry-film thickness be checked between coats. For large-diameter pipe stored outdoors before erection, the system gives transit and site protection with margin.
Order Inspection
S.C.A. and C..M.L will delegate for the consignment their inspectors to carry out the inspection of the goods subject of this order at the supplier premise according to The following procedures and steps ( must be implemented )
- After 25 % of the total quantity of pipes has been manufactured, two engineers from the Suez Canal Authority will be dispatched for a five-day inspection mission at the factory in China,.
- Samples shall be taken from the plates used to manufacture the pipes by the Authority's representatives during the inspection visit.
- These samples will be analyzed at the Authority's laboratories, and the company will be notified of their compliance before the shipment of the first batch of pipes.
- Upon completion of the manufacturing of the remaining balance of the supply order, two engineers from the Suez Canal Authority will be dispatched for a five-day inspection mission at the factory in China
- All items shall be manufactured in accordance with the international standard specifications stipulated in the attached technical specifications and according to the best industry practices."

Inspection and Certification
Acceptance ran on 10% sampling per item, with visual and dimensional checks plus verification of chemical analysis and mechanical properties against the mill test certificates (pipe to GB/T 4171-2008 / EN 10025). Welds were examined by magnetic-particle testing on a 10% scope, and every tube was hydrostatically tested to ASME practice - 45 bar on the 970 mm pipes and 15 bar on the 1070 mm pipes. Each consignment shipped with EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates, and the buyer's inspectors witnessed production after 25% of the pipe quantity was completed.

Tonnage and Shipment
The pipe tonnage was verified at 186.170 tonnes against the schedule and shipped to Egypt. At 970 mm and 1070 mm outside diameter the pipes cannot be containerized efficiently, so they move on flat racks or break-bulk, priced per piece - the 6 m and 5 m lengths keep lifting and stowage straightforward at the port and on site.
