Uncoiling and leveling: A500 steel plates are usually stored in roll form and need to be uncoiled first. After uncoiling, as the A500 steel plate may have warped during the rolling process, it needs to be leveled by the leveling machine to ensure the straightness and dimensional accuracy of the A500 steel pipe.
Plate flaw detection: A500 steel plate after leveling needs to be ultrasonic flaw detection to detect whether there are cracks, inclusions and other defects inside the plate. Unqualified A500 plates will be rejected to ensure that the raw materials entering the next process are qualified.
Trimming and Forming: The A500 plate is trimmed to the size of the pipe to be welded, removing the excess and forming a welding bevel. Subsequently, the A500 steel plate is pressed into A500 square pipe pieces through the forming machine.
High-frequency welding: the edges of the formed A500 steel plates are fused together by high-frequency welding technology to form A500 tubular structure.
Removal of internal and external burrs: after welding, spatter or burrs will be produced in the weld area, which need to be removed by grinding so as not to affect the quality and service life of A500 steel pipe.
Weld flaw detection: After welding is completed, ultrasonic flaw detection is carried out on the weld seam to detect whether the weld seam is uniform and consistent and whether there are any defects.
Intermediate frequency annealing and air-cooling: In order to eliminate the residual stress generated during the welding process, A500 steel pipe needs to undergo intermediate frequency annealing treatment. Subsequently, A500 steel pipe is air-cooled to refine the grain and enhance the material properties.
Sizing and Straightening: A500 Carbon Steel Square Hollow Section are sized and cut to the required length and straightened to ensure the straightness of the pipe.
Hydrostatic test and ultrasonic inspection: Hydrostatic test is carried out to check the sealing of the weld seam, and finally ultrasonic inspection is carried out to ensure that there are no cracks and other defects inside the steel pipe.
Packing: The finished A500 square welded pipe is packed to prevent corrosion and damage, waiting to be shipped.
