Precision steel pipe manufacturing process
1. Raw material preparation
Before starting the manufacturing process of precision steel pipes, raw materials need to be prepared first. The raw material must be quality steel. Usually seamless steel pipes or steel pipes are used for production.
2. Material feeding
The raw materials are sent to a lathe or rolling mill for processing. In order to ensure the quality and qualification rate of steel products, incoming materials must be strictly inspected and tested. After the material is fed, it needs to be heated to facilitate subsequent processing and shaping.
3. Pipe outer diameter finishing
Send the heated steel pipe to the pipe outer diameter finishing machine or automatic control extrusion machine for outer diameter processing. Precision cutting tools and switching tools are required during outer diameter processing to ensure the outer diameter accuracy and surface smoothness of the pipe.

4. Pipe inner diameter finishing
After the outer diameter of the pipe is finished, the inner diameter needs to be processed. Inner diameter processing includes: grinding, hole expansion and cold drawing. Among them, inner diameter grinding is one of the most critical processes in precision steel pipe manufacturing. This process uses an abrasive grinding method to achieve a high degree of accuracy and smoothness in the inner diameter of the pipe

5. Annealing treatment
After the inner diameter is processed, the precision steel pipe needs to be annealed. Annealing treatment is helpful to optimize the physical properties of the pipe and improve the mechanical properties of the finished product.
