GB/T 3091: This is a standard for 'welded steel pipe for low pressure fluid transport', also known as 'general welded pipe' or 'black pipe'. This kind of steel pipe is mainly used for transporting fluids with generally low pressure such as water, gas, air, oil and heating steam. In addition, it is also widely used to make low-pressure fluid transport with galvanised welded steel pipe raw pipe.
GB/T 13793: This standard deals with 'straight seam electric welded steel pipe', the weld seam of which is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the steel pipe, and is usually used for general structural pipes, such as metric electric welded steel pipe and electric welded thin-walled pipe. Compared with GB/T 3091, the steel pipes of GB/T 13793 are more used for structural purposes.
