Composition and working principle of electric gate valve
Electric gate valve is a valve that uses an electric motor to drive the gate. It consists of an electric guide rail, an electric motor, a reducer, a gate and a valve body. When the motor is running, the commutator on the coaxial sleeve of the reducer rotates to move the gate up and down, thereby opening or closing the valve.
Its working principle is as follows: the electric guide rail transmits the signal of the motor, transmits the signal to the reducer, the reducer processes and converts the signal, and then transmits the signal to the gate, which moves the gate up and down to form a switch state, thereby realizing the opening and closing operation of the valve.
Characteristics of electric gate valve
(1) Electric gate valve has the advantages of compact structure, light weight, and easy opening and closing.
(2) Electric gate valve has a wide range of applications and is suitable for industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, environmental protection, and water treatment.
(3) This type of gate valve has the characteristics of fast opening and closing speed, convenient operation, and easy maintenance.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Electric Gate Valves
1. Advantages
(1) Electric gate valves have a fast opening and closing speed.
(2) Electric gate valves are simple to operate and easy to control.
(3) Electric gate valves have the characteristics of compact structure and small footprint.
(4) Electric gate valves have a long service life and can withstand high pressure.
2. Disadvantages
(1) Electric gate valves have poor sealing performance.
(2) The material of electric gate valves may not be corrosion-resistant enough, which will affect the service life of the valve.
(3) The maintenance cost of electric gate valves is high.
Application scope of electric gate valves
Electric gate valves are suitable for use in important working conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, high viscosity, high concentration, and easy crystallization. They are widely used in petrochemical, chemical, metallurgical, electric power, water treatment, papermaking and other industrial fields, and can be used to control various media such as water, steam, oil, acid, alkali, etc.
