1. Basic definition and category
P235TR1 is a steel plate material for pressure vessels under European standards. It is a low-carbon steel, mainly composed of iron, carbon, and a small amount of manganese, silicon, phosphorus and other elements.
2. Yield strength
As the name suggests, its lower yield strength is about 235MPa, and it has good toughness, which makes it very suitable for manufacturing pressure vessels, storage tanks and other industrial equipment.
3. Other properties
P235TR1 is a European standard (EN10216-1) non-alloy seamless steel pipe, designed for high pressure and high temperature environments. It has high strength, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance. It can withstand pressure and temperature changes under extreme working conditions. Its linear expansion coefficient is 12.1×10^(-6)/K.
4. Domestic corresponding material
In China, the material corresponding to P235TR1 is Q235B. Q235B is a common carbon structural steel under Chinese standards, and its yield strength is also around 235MPa. It can be used as a substitute for P235TR1 in engineering applications. In addition, Q235B has good welding performance and cold and hot processing performance, and its price is relatively low, so it has been widely used in China.
5. Application fields
P235TR1 is widely used in many industrial fields, especially in the manufacture of boiler pipes, transmission pipes, pressure vessels and other equipment. It is also often used in petrochemical, electric power, boiler manufacturing and other industries
