STPT370 pipe is a Japanese standard welded steel pipe made of carbon steel, which is mainly used for ship-related equipment piping and structural piping. The executive standard of this pipe is JIS G 3456, which is a kind of welded steel pipe standard of Japanese standard.The chemical composition of STPT370 pipe includes carbon (C) not more than 0.25%, silicon (Si) between 0.10~0.35%, manganese (Mn) between 0.30~0.90%, as well as the content of phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) are not more than 0.035%. Its mechanical properties include tensile strength of not less than 370 MPa and yield strength of not less than 215 MPa. The delivery state is usually normalised or low-temperature annealed, and it is necessary to carry out hydrostatic testing root by root.
