What is JIS G3456 steel pipe?
The JIS G3456 standard specifies the requirements for carbon steel tubes for use in high temperature conditions, and applies mainly to tubes with outside diameters between 10.5 mm and 660.4 mm. These steel pipes are intended for use at temperatures in excess of 350°C and are typically used in high temperature piping systems. The standard has been developed to ensure the performance and safety of steel pipes in high temperature environments.
JIS G3456 steel pipes are available in a variety of grades, including: STPT 370, STPT 410, STPT 480, and others.
