What are the grades of EN10219 Cold Drawn Pipe

What are the grades of EN10219 Cold Drawn Pipe

The EN 10219 standard specifies the technical delivery conditions for cold formed welded hollow steel tubes of non-alloyed and fine grain steels and is divided into sections, each of which covers different grades and performance requirements. The following is a list of the main grades and related information of the EN 10219 standard:

EN 10219-1:2006 Standard
Structural steel tubes (S)
Hollow steel tubes (H)

Unalloyed steel:
JR: Impact test value at ambient temperature
J0: Impact test value at 0°C
J2/K2: Impact test value at -20°C

Fine grain steels:
L: Impact test value at -50°C
N: Normalised or Normalised Rolled
M: Thermomechanically tied

EN10219 cold drawn welded pipe

EN 10219-3:2020 Standard
Technical delivery conditions for high-strength and weathering-resistant steels
Covers six unalloyed quality steels (S235JRH, S275J0H, S275J2H, S355J0H, SS355J2H and S355K2H)
Does not cover any grades of high strength and weathering steels
Covers fine grain steels (raw material condition N)
Covers thermomechanically formed steels (raw material condition M) and tempered steels (raw material condition QT)
24 grades of tempered steels and steels with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance are covered.
Through these sections, the EN 10219 standard provides comprehensive technical requirements and performance criteria for cold formed welded hollow steel tubes, ensuring the quality and safety of the product in the EU market.
