Welded Pipe Supplier-GNEE
1. Resistance welded steel pipe
Electric resistance welded steel pipe, the English name is ERW (Electric resistance welded Pipe), the weld type is straight seam. Resistance welding uses a pressure welding method without filler metal. There is no other component filled in the weld. It relies on the skin effect and proximity effect of high-frequency current to instantly heat the edge of the plate to the welding temperature, and is extruded by the extrusion roller to form a forging. Tissue welds.
Resistance welded steel pipes can be divided into two categories: high frequency resistance welding HFW (High frequency welded pipe) and low frequency resistance welding LFW (Low frequency welding).
ERW steel pipes are mainly used to transport vapor and liquid objects such as oil and natural gas. They can meet various requirements of high and low pressure. They currently occupy a decisive position in the field of transportation pipes in the world.

2. Spiral welded steel pipe
Spiral welded steel pipe, the English name is SSAW (Spiral submerged-arc welding pipe), the weld type is spiral seam. Using submerged arc welding method, double-layer welding inside and outside. Submerged arc welding (including submerged arc cladding and electroslag cladding, etc.) is an important welding method. It has the inherent advantages of stable welding quality, high welding productivity, no arc light and little smoke.
The manufacturing diameter of spiral welded pipe is larger, which can reach more than 3000mm. It is more suitable for large-diameter pipeline transportation and building structures.

3. Straight seam welded steel pipe
Straight seam welded steel pipe, the English name is LSAW (Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded Pipe), the weld type is straight seam. The same submerged arc welding method is used, with double-layer welding inside and outside. Straight seam steel pipes are manufactured with larger wall thickness and are used similarly to spiral welded steel pipes.
Straight seam welded steel pipes can be divided into two categories according to different forming processes: UOE (Uing and Oing forming pipe) and JCOE (J-ing, C-ing and O-ing pipe). UOE forming method (U forming, O forming, E diameter expansion), JCOE forming method (steel plate is pressed into J shape, then pressed into C shape and O shape in sequence, and then expanded).

It should be noted that the submerged arc welding process (SAW) is a type of electric fusion welding (EFW Electric Fusion Welded Pipe), which heats metal between one or several consumable electrodes and the workpiece to bond the metals. A process in which the arc melts the metal and filling material fully without the need for pressure. All the work on the filling metal part comes from the electrode.
