There are many ways to classify fin tubes by process. The following are the types under different classification methods:
1. Rolled fin tubes: The fins are formed by rolling process, the fins are tightly combined with the base tube, and the structural strength is good.
2. Welded fin tubes: They can be subdivided into high-frequency welded fin tubes and submerged arc welded fin tubes.
High-frequency welded fin tubes use high-frequency induction generated by high-frequency generators to generate high temperature at the contact point between the tube surface and the fins, melt the two within a depth range of about 10μm, and then pressurize the fins and tubes to form one;
Submerged arc welded fin tubes are welded by submerged arc welding process. Modern welding technology can connect fins of different materials together, with good heat transfer and mechanical properties, but the quality of the welding process must be guaranteed, because the residue in the weld is not conducive to heat transfer and may even cause fracture.
3. Rolled fin tubes: The fins are formed by rolling process.
4. Set-formed fin tube (series tube): The fins are set on the base tube, and the process is relatively simple.
5. Cast fin tube: Made by casting process, the fins and the tube are integrated.
6. Tension-wound fin tube: The fins are installed on the base tube by tension winding.
7. Inlaid tube: The fins are inlaid on the base tube to form a fin tube
