Spiral Submerged ARC Welded Pipe
Spiral seam submerged arc welded steel pipe will be hot rolled strip steel according to the spiral shape bending and forming, with submerged arc automatic welding for the inner seam and outer seam welding made of spiral seam steel pipe (also known as spiral welded pipe, spiral pipe spiral steel pipe). It can be widely used in the production of large diameter steel pipe for the following reasons:
1) as long as you change the forming angle, you can use the same width of the strip to produce a variety of caliber steel pipe;.
2) Because of the continuous bending and forming, the sizing length of the pipe is not limited; and
3) The spiral shape of the weld seam is uniformly distributed on the whole circumference of the steel pipe, so the dimensional accuracy of the steel pipe is high, and the strength is also high;
4) Easy to change the size, suitable for small batch, multi-species steel pipe production.
