JIS G3460 Alloy Steel Pipe for Low-Temperature Service
This standard specifies steel pipes for piping (hereinafter referred to as pipes) used at particularly low temperatures below the freezing point.
This standard is generally suitable for tubes with an outer diameter of 10.5 mm (nominal diameter 6A or 81B) to 660.4 mm (nominal diameter 650A or 26B)
Outside Diameter: NPS 1/8"-26"
Wall Thickness: 1.7-64.2mm
Material: STPL380, STPL450, STPL690
Application: Low-temperature pipeline, low-temperature environment, low-temperature equipment.

JIS G3460 Alloy Steel Pipe Dimension:
OD 10.5mm - 660mm WT: 1 - 100mm Length: 5.8M, 6M, 11.8M, 12M, or any economical length.
Manufacturing Process: STPL380 can be manufactured using either seamless or resistance welding processes, while STPL450 and STPL690 are typically manufactured using seamless processes. Both are made from fine-grained, killed steel. STPL380 and STPL450 require normalizing or normalizing followed by tempering, while STPL690 requires double normalizing followed by tempering or quenching and tempering.
Testing Requirements: Flattening, bending, and Charpy impact tests are required. The Charpy impact test temperatures are -45°C for STPL380, -100°C for STPL450, and -196°C for STPL690.
