A572 is a technical specification for high-strength, low-alloy cobalt-vanadium structural steels, the main grades of which are GR42, GR50 GR55,GR60, GR65.
A572 steel pipe is not a carbon steel pipe, but a high-strength low alloy structural steel pipe, which can be used as seamless pipe or welded pipe.
The main components of A572 alloy tube include carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, molybdenum and other elements.
Among them, the carbon content is between 0.20-0.26%, the silicon content is between 0.15-0.40%, the manganese content is between 1.15-1.50%, the phosphorus content is not more than 0.035%, the sulfur content is not more than 0.035%, the chromium content is not more than 0.40%, the nickel content is not more than 0.40%, the molybdenum content is not more than 0.15%.
The yield strength of A572 steel pipe is not less than 345MPa, the tensile strength is not less than 450MPa, and the elongation is not less than 20%.
A572 steel pipe is mainly used in construction and bridges and other engineering structures, with good welding performance and anti-fatigue, impact and corrosion resistance.
