1. Basic concept
Nail head tube: a tube processed into a nail shape.
Fin tube: a tube processed into a sheet on the tube body.
2. Structural features
Nail head tube: the central part of the tube wall is in a nail-shaped process state, and there is a nail head between the tube diameter and the inner hole, which can increase the adhesion between the tubes and reduce the risk of falling off. It is simple to process and easy to use.
Fin tube: a certain sheet edge groove is cut on the surface of the tube body by a processing machine, and then the aluminum sheet is pressed into a long strip, and then squeezed into each edge groove, which increases the surface area of the tube and enhances the heat conduction and heat exchange capacity.
3. Application scope
Nail head tube: The application field is mainly concentrated in the petrochemical, power and refrigeration industries. For example, symmetrical nail heads are processed on the inner wall of the air compressor cylinder to improve the heat dissipation performance; convex nail heads are processed on the combustion chamber of the oil heating furnace to increase the surface area of the tube and improve the heat exchange effect; it is also used for some tower equipment with high viscosity media, such as tower plates, tunnels and bottom plates, and can be used interchangeably with tower plate materials.
Finned tube: Mainly used in air heat exchange equipment, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, boiler heat exchangers and other fields. For example, in the machinery manufacturing industry, finned tubes are often used to form radiators to increase the heat dissipation capacity of devices.
5. Advantages and disadvantages
Nail head tube:
Advantages: simple to make, easy to maintain, good heat dissipation performance.
Finned tube:
Advantages: large surface processing area, good heat dissipation performance.
Disadvantages: The manufacturing technology is relatively complex, and generally requires the use of advanced automatic machine tools and equipment
