ASTM A672 C70 CL22 EFW Pipes description
ASTM A672 C70 CL22 is a medium- and high-pressure carbon steel pressure-bearing welded pipe conforming to American standards:
C70: Material grade (carbon manganese steel with a minimum yield strength of 485 MPa/70 ksi).
CL22: Manufacturing and inspection grade (Class 22), a medium- to high-level quality control standard.
Process: Manufactured using submerged arc welding (SAW) or electrofusion welding (EFW), with forced normalizing treatment to ensure high-temperature performance.
