KL Finned Tube

"KL" fin tube is also called knurled fin tube. The fins are wrapped around the tube and the feet are rolled into the outer surface of the pre-knurled tube and secured at the ends. The fin is made from a strip of metal, which is then machined into precisely controllable L-shaped legs similar to an L-shaped fin, and then rolled into a tapered shape to curl it. The tube surface is knurled with a rotary tool, and the feet of the fins are then knurled into the base tube to provide a tight bond that optimizes heat transfer.
