St52 Square Tube Description
ST52 rectangular pipes are German standard low-alloy steel pipes. The grade consists of "St" followed by characteristic values and quality indicator numbers. It is equivalent to domestic grades such as Q345 steel pipes (16Mn), and is used in the manufacturing of various types of engineering machinery. This includes mining equipment and construction machinery such as drills, electric shovels, electric wheel dump trucks, mining vehicles, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, various types of cranes, coal mine hydraulic supports, and other structural components.

ST52 Hollow Section

ST52 rectangular pipes undergo chemical composition analysis through various methods:
1. Infrared C-S Analyzer: Analyzes C (Carbon) and S (Sulfur) elements in iron alloys, steelmaking raw materials, and steel.
2. Direct Reading Spectrometer: Analyzes C (Carbon), Si (Silicon), Mn (Manganese), P (Phosphorus), S (Sulfur), Cr (Chromium), Mo (Molybdenum), Ni (Nickel), Cu (Copper), Al (Aluminum), W (Tungsten), V (Vanadium), Ti (Titanium), B (Boron), Nb (Niobium), As (Arsenic), Sn (Tin), Sb (Antimony), Pb (Lead), Bi (Bismuth) in bulk samples.
3. N-O Analyzer: Analyzes gas content of N (Nitrogen) and O (Oxygen).
Physical and mechanical property testing includes:
Tensile Testing: Measures stress and strain to determine material strength (YS, TS) and plasticity indicators (A, Z) using longitudinal, transverse, pipe section, arc, and round samples.
Impact Testing: Measures impact energy (CVN), with notch types C and V, and impact value (J) in J/cm² using standard and non-standard samples.
Hardness Testing: Measures Brinell hardness (HB), Rockwell hardness (HRC), Vickers hardness (HV), etc.
Hydraulic Testing: Tests pressure, stable pressure time, and formula p=2Sδ/D.
Non-destructive testing includes:
1. Weld Seam Surface Defect Inspection: Checks for surface cracks, incomplete penetration, and weld leakage.
2. Internal Inspection: Examines surface cracks, peeling, wire drawing, scratches, pits, protrusions, spots, corrosion, and other defects.
3. Condition Inspection: Conducts internal inspection for specific items as required by technical specifications after the operation of certain products (e.g., turbines, engines).
4. Assembly Inspection: Uses industrial video endoscopes to inspect assembly quality when required. Checks if assembly positions of components meet blueprint or technical requirements post-assembly or after a particular process.
5. Foreign Matter Inspection: Examines internal residues such as burrs and foreign objects within the product.
