The S355JR type automatic electric arc welded pipe is a single-pass or double-pass longitudinal straight seam welded pipe manufactured using an automated submerged arc welding process. It uses S355JR low-alloy high-strength structural steel (compliant with European standard EN 10210) as raw material. The steel plate is rolled using large-scale forming equipment, and the immense heat generated by the electric arc burning under the flux layer achieves fusion, forming a deep-penetration, high-quality weld.

Non-destructive Testing of Submerged Arc Welded Pipes

To ensure the ultimate reliability of our products, we implement a rigorous non-destructive testing process. This system uses ultrasonic testing to perform 100% full-coverage scanning of the weld interior, accurately identifying and locating any potential defects such as slag inclusions, porosity, or lack of fusion.
