LSAW pipe is also called JCOE pipe. LSAW is a longitudinal double-sided submerged arc welding process. It is a submerged arc welded pipe made of hot-rolled steel plates using JCOE or UOE forming technology. JCOE technology refers to the forming process covering J-Shape, C-Shape, O-Shape and E-Expanding.

JCOE is a pipe-making technology for producing large-diameter thick-walled steel pipes. Mainly adopts double-sided submerged arc welding production technology. The products go through multiple processes such as milling, pre-bending, bending, jointing, internal welding, external welding, straightening, and flat head. The forming process can be decomposed into N+1 steps (N is a positive integer). The steel plate is automatically fed and bent laterally according to the set step length, realizing CNC progressive J-C-O forming. The steel plate enters the forming machine laterally and is driven by the feeding trolley to perform the first N/2-step multi-step bending to achieve the "J" shape of the first half of the steel plate. In the second stage, the "J" is first formed. Quickly send the steel plate to the designated position in the horizontal direction, and bend the unformed steel plate in N/2 steps from the other end to complete the forming of the second half of the steel plate and the "C" shape. Finally, the "C" shaped tube The lower part of the billet is bent once to achieve "O" shape, and each stamping step is based on the three-point bending principle.
