S275JR longitudinal submerged arc welded steel pipe is an industrialized pipe material made of European standard structural steel, formed using a single-pass straight seam submerged arc welding process, possessing a minimum yield strength of 275MPa and excellent weld integrity. With its uniform mechanical properties, excellent pressure-bearing capacity and precise dimensional control, this product is widely used in water pipelines, building structural supports, industrial fluid transportation and other fields, and is especially suitable for pressure engineering scenarios with high requirements for strength and welding quality.

S275JR Hot-rolled LSAW Welded Steel Pipe Surface Treatment:

The surface treatment of S275JR longitudinal submerged arc welded steel pipe aims to improve its corrosion resistance and service life. The main methods include:

1. Basic cleaning: First, shot blasting or sandblasting is used to thoroughly remove oxide scale, welding slag, and rust from the steel pipe surface, forming a clean "anchor pattern" surface with a certain degree of roughness to enhance coating adhesion.

2. Conventional Coating Protection: Different coatings are then applied depending on the application environment. Common methods include spraying rust-preventive oil or epoxy zinc-rich primer. The former is suitable for short-term rust prevention during storage and transportation, while the latter provides medium- to long-term corrosion protection through the cathodic protection of zinc powder.

3. Heavy-Duty Corrosion Protection Systems: For buried, subsea, or highly corrosive environments, multi-layered protection is employed, such as three-layer polyethylene (3PE) or epoxy asphalt coatings. This system combines the corrosion resistance of the epoxy primer, the bonding strength of the adhesive, and the mechanical protection of the polyolefin outer layer, forming the ultimate protection solution.
