EN10219 S460NH Cold Formed RHS Tubes Description
EN 10219 S460NH rectangular tube is a cold-formed welded hollow rectangular steel tube manufactured according to the European standard EN 10219. It is a high-strength fine-grained structural steel and is mainly used for load-bearing structures in the fields of construction and machinery.
Grade analysis:
S460: Minimum yield strength is 460MPa (when the wall thickness is ≤16mm);
N: The steel is normalized to optimize the grain structure;
H: Hollow profile (H Section), here refers to rectangular tube.
Dimensional tolerance:
Wall thickness deviation ≤±8% (wall thickness>10mm) or ≤±10% (wall thickness≤10mm);
Bending ≤2mm/m
Application
Architectural structure: high-rise building frame, bridge support, industrial plant steel frame;
Mechanical engineering: crane boom, heavy equipment frame;
