SY/5037 SSAW Pipe Description
SY/T5037 Spiral Welded Pipe is a spiral submerged arc welded steel pipe manufactured according to China's oil and gas industry standard SY/T5037-2018, which is mainly used for transporting conventional fluids such as oil, natural gas, water, etc., and is also suitable for industrial piping systems under low pressure and normal temperature environment. SY' in its name represents the petroleum industry standard, "5037" is the standard number, and "spiral welded pipe" refers to the steel pipe welded by spiral forming process. Spiral Welded Pipe' refers to the steel pipe welded by spiral forming process.
Material and Strength
The main materials include Q235A/B, Q345, L245-L485 and other low alloy steels, with yield strength ranging from 235-485MPa to meet different pressure requirements.
Tensile strength is 375-630MPa, elongation ≥20%, with good mechanical properties.
