S355JR spiral welded pipe is a type of pipe made from hot-rolled steel strip coils. Through spiral forming technology, S355JR low-alloy high-strength structural steel is continuously rolled at a constant angle and then welded simultaneously on both the inner and outer sides using submerged arc welding.

Coating Treatment of S355JR Spiral Welded Pipe

To cope with harsh service environments, S355JR spiral welded pipes undergo specialized coating treatments depending on the application. For structural applications (such as pile foundations and port facilities), we use hot-dip galvanizing or heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating systems to provide long-lasting cathodic protection and physical barriers, greatly improving corrosion resistance in the atmosphere and soil. For pipeline transportation applications (such as water, oil, and gas), the standard configuration is a fusion-bonded epoxy powder coating, with optional three-layer polyethylene reinforced anti-corrosion coating, ensuring excellent chemical corrosion resistance, mechanical damage resistance, and insulation performance in complex underground environments.
