S355J2H structural ERW welded steel pipe is a cold-formed hollow structural steel section manufactured using high-strength S355J2H steel (normalized state, conforming to European standard EN 10219) as the base material and employing high-frequency resistance welding technology. Building upon the excellent mechanical properties of S355J2, this product achieves a finer grain structure through controlled rolling and cooling processes, combining high strength, high toughness, and excellent weldability. It is a preferred material for heavy building structures, bridge engineering, and mechanical equipment.

Online Normalizing Treatment of S355J2H Structural Resistance Welded Pipe

The online normalizing treatment of S355J2H structural ERW welded pipe involves immediately after high-frequency welding using a medium-frequency induction heating device to precisely heat the weld area to a normalizing temperature above the Ac3 phase transformation point (typically 880-920℃), followed by uniform cooling in air. This process completely eliminates Widmanstätten structure, coarse grains, and hardened martensite formed during welding, refining the grain size in the weld heat-affected zone to level 7 or higher. The microstructure is reconstructed into a uniform ferrite + pearlite structure, ensuring that the low-temperature impact toughness (-20℃ KV2≥40J), microhardness (≤180HV), and fatigue resistance of the weld area are fully matched with the S355J2H base material, completely eliminating weak weld zones.
