Q345 Welded steel carbon pipe Description
Q345 large diameter spiral welded pipe is a welded steel pipe made from Q345 low alloy steel (carbon content ≤ 0.20%, manganese content 1.0%-1.6%) as raw material, made by spiral forming and double-sided submerged arc welding process, with a diameter usually exceeding 406mm (some scenarios are defined as ≥ 1m) .
Q345 steel properties:
Mechanical properties: yield strength ≥ 345MPa, tensile strength 470-630MPa, both high strength and good toughness, suitable for low temperature environment.
Q345 large diameter pipe applications
Oil and gas transmission: oil, natural gas long-distance pipelines, to adapt to high pressure and large flow demand;
Municipal engineering: urban water supply, drainage main pipe and heat pipe network;
Construction and infrastructure: bridge support, piling pipe, billboard steel structure and other non-high-pressure load-bearing scenarios;
