L245 ERW Pipe Description
L245 3PE welded pipe is a composite steel pipe with L245 low alloy pipeline steel as the base material, formed by resistance welding process, and 3PE anti-corrosion layer applied on the surface.
L245: represents the steel with a minimum yield strength of 245MPa, suitable for medium and low pressure fluid transportation25;
3PE: refers to a three-layer composite anti-corrosion structure consisting of epoxy powder bottom layer + adhesive middle layer + polyethylene outer layer, which can resist soil, water medium and chemical corrosion.
Anti-corrosion treatment:
Base layer: fused epoxy powder (FBE), providing chemical inertness and adhesion;
Middle layer: copolymer adhesive, enhancing interlayer bonding;
Outer layer: high-density polyethylene (HDPE), resisting mechanical damage and ultraviolet aging. Performance Advantages
