SA178 pipe sizes and thicknesses generally supplied to this specification are 1⁄2 to 5 in. [12.7 to 127 mm] outside diameter and minimum wall thicknesses 0.035 to 0.360 in. [0.9 to 9.1 mm], inclusive. Pipes of other sizes may be supplied provided that such pipes comply with all other requirements of this specification.
