EN10210 is a European standard that specifies the technical delivery conditions for hot-rolled hollow steel sections with circular, square, rectangular, and elliptical shapes. This standard applies to hollow steel sections formed by hot-forming with or without subsequent heat treatment, or by cold-forming with subsequent heat treatment to achieve equivalent metallurgical conditions as those of hot-formed products. The EN10210 welded pipe includes several grades, such as S235JRH, S275J0H, S275J2H, S355J0H, S355J2H, S275NH/NLH, S355NH/NLH, S420NH/NLH, and S460NH/NLH.

Inspection and Testing Types for EN10210 Welded Steel Tube

The inspection and testing requirements for non-alloy hollow sections of quality grades JR and J0 should follow the EN10021 standard, unless otherwise specified by the customer at the time of ordering. Customers may specify detailed inspection and testing requirements when placing their orders.

For non-alloy hollow sections of quality grade J2 and fine grain steel grades N, M, ML, and NL, the testing requirements should also comply with the EN10021 standard.

Types of Inspection Documents

1. Non-specific inspection reports for products should follow the EN 10204 standard. The coding and related information included in the inspection reports must comply with the requirements of the EU 168 standard.

A: Transaction
B: Product description in the inspection report
C: Inspection information as follows:
C11-C13: Tensile test report
C71-C92: Pre-furnace analysis report
Z: Certification of the inspection report

2. Inspection certificates or inspection reports for products with specific inspection requirements should be provided in accordance with the EN 10204 standard. Customers should specify the required type of inspection document in their inquiry and contract.
