A672 C70 EFW Pipe Description
A672 C70 resistance welded pipe belongs to American Standard (ASTM) medium temperature and high pressure electrofusion welded steel pipe, manufactured by electrofusion welding (EFW) process, the strength of weld seam is similar to that of base material, to meet the needs of high temperature and high pressure working conditions. Based on carbon steel or low alloy steel, containing C ≤ 0.30%, Mn ≤ 1.65%, Si ≤ 0.60%, and may add trace Cr, Mo and other elements to enhance corrosion resistance.
Mechanical properties:
Tensile strength: ≥483 MPa (C70 grade);
Applicable temperature: -29 ℃ to 343 ℃, some scenarios can be extended to 525 ℃ (need to combine with CL additional conditions)
