A672 B70 EFW Welding Pipe Description
A672 B70 resistance welded pipe is a high-strength electrofusion welded steel pipe based on the ASTM A672/A672M standard, belonging to the B70 material grade (carbon steel or low alloy steel), designed for medium-high temperature and high-pressure working conditions.
B70 indicates the material grade, tensile strength ≥ 550 MPa, suitable for high-pressure non-corrosive fluid transport;
CL22/CL32 is the pressure grade, suitable for steam, oil and gas and other high-pressure scenarios at temperatures ≤ 200 ℃.
Material properties:
Chemical composition: carbon (C) ≤ 0.31%, manganese (Mn) ≤ 1.3%, silicon (Si) 0.13%-0.45%, phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) ≤ 0.025%;
Mechanical properties: tensile strength ≥550 MPa, yield strength ≥415 MPa, can withstand high pressure and medium temperature environment.
Outer diameter: 406mm-3280mm, wall thickness: 4mm-50mm (support customisation);
The material can be selected from carbon steel or low alloy steel, suitable for different strength requirements.
