• 3LPE coated pipes consist of 3 layers of pipe coating.

The first layer (FBE > 100um) consists of a fusion bonded epoxy resin. This layer prevents corrosion and is fused to the blasted steel surface.

The second layer (170 to 250um) is a copolymer binder with excellent chemical adhesion to the inner and top layers of polyethylene.

The third layer (2.5~3.7mm) is a polyethylene layer to prevent any physical damage to the pipe.

These three layers are firmly bonded to the pipe to form an excellent anticorrosive coating, and can be used for pipe diameters ranging from 25Φ to 2420Φ.

• The following points need to be paid attention to when using polyethylene anti-corrosion steel pipes:

1. Avoid strong impact on the pipeline to avoid damaging the coating.
2. Check the pipelines regularly and repair them promptly if any damage, cracking, etc. is found.
3. Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh environments such as high temperature and high humidity to avoid affecting coating performance.
4. For special media such as acid, alkali, etc., the corresponding outer polyethylene anti-corrosion steel pipe should be selected to ensure the safe operation of the pipeline.
