A789 Stainless Steel Tube

Austenitic stainless steel pipes are the most common stainless steel pipe material and have good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. Austenitic stainless steel pipes are mainly composed of chromium, nickel and a certain proportion of carbon, which contain more than 18% chromium and more than 8% nickel. Stainless steel pipes made of this material have good plasticity and toughness at room temperature and excellent corrosion resistance. They are suitable for various general industrial and civil pipeline systems. Ferritic stainless steel pipes are mainly composed of iron and chromium, with a higher chromium content, usually between 12-30%. Compared with austenitic stainless steel, ferritic stainless steel is slightly inferior in corrosion resistance, but has higher strength and magnetism resistance. Ferritic stainless steel pipes are suitable for industrial piping systems in high temperature environments, such as petrochemical, electric power and other fields.
