Threaded Tee
ASME B16.11 forged threaded tee fitting can be divided into equal and reducing tee, both of them are in three pressure ratings of Class 2000, 3000 and 6000. They are mainly used for small pipe size whose nominal diameter is NPS 2 and smaller. It is forging manufacturing process and has three holes that named as one inlet and two outlests or two inlets and one outlet.ASME B16.11 threaded tees are suitable for piping systems to transport two phase fluid mixtures.
Forged steel pipe fittings are produced according to standards of ASME B16.11, BS3799, MSS-SP-79 / 83 / 95 / 97. These threaded fittings and socket weld fittings are made by ASTM 105 and ASTM A182.
